QC Technician

HALIX delivers end-to-end bioscience services for therapeutic recombinant proteins, viral vectors and vaccines. As a QC Technician, you will be responsible for performing and documenting quality controls within the QC laboratory. You will contribute to the intermediate, release and stability testing of pharmaceutical products and work in compliance with GMP guidelines.

Your tasks
  • Performing biochemical analyses such as ELISA, HPLC/UPLC, pH, osmolality, conductivity and other analytical tests.
  • Processing and analyzing test results and preparing reports.
  • Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.
  • Conducting testing of stability studies and data trending.
  • Identifying deviations and contributing to root cause analyses, Change and CAPAs.
  • Ensuring compliance with GMP, SOPs, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with other departments such as Quality Assurance (QA), Analytical Development and Production on quality-related issues.
  • Supporting validations and method transfers
  • Reviews and archives QC Protocols, Reports and Certificates of analysis.
You have
  • A completed MBO or HBO / Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field such as (bio)chemistry, analytical chemistry, or life sciences.
  • Experience with (bio) chemical analytical techniques.
  • A precise and structured working approach with attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude and a team player.
  • Has an understanding and application of QC principles, concepts, practices and standards.
  • Knowledge of GMP QC testing and related Data Integrity.
  • Knowledge of quality directives and GMP/FDA Guidelines.
