Associate Scientist DSP
We are looking for an Associate Scientist DSP to strengthen our Development team.
Process development (PD) is a sub-department under Development department to cover the key area of activities on process transfer from clients, process development, implementation for GMP manufacturing, process characterization, and process validation. The PD team consists of Associate Scientists and (Sr.) Scientists. The purpose of Associate Scientist DSP is to execute experimental and documentation activities related to downstream process (DSP) development.
Your tasks
- Design, plan, prepare, execute, and document experimental activities on DSP.
- Collaborate with (Sr.) Scientists and project team members in defining, planning, and executing
project deliverables. - Support large-scale GMP manufacturing activities.
- Proxy Scientist(s) in project team and departmental housekeeping activities.
- Train peers, new team members or GMP operators on DSP steps.
- Write process descriptions, protocols, reports, standard operating procedures, work instructions,
batch production records, and other technical/quality documents - Coordinate and manage PD laboratories, including ownership of lab rules, management of equipment, and lab supplies.
You have
- M.Sc. with 2+ years or B.Sc. with 5+ years of work experience in purification / downstream process development (of protein / virus / vaccine) in biopharmaceutical industry.
- Highly skilful on following DSP techniques: chromatography (ÄKTA, Unicorn); tangential flow filtration (ultrafiltration, diafiltration); normal flow filtration; centrifugation.
- Experienced in working according to good documentation practice (GDP), data integrity, ALCOA+ principle, BSL2 laboratory regulations, and basic GMP.
