HALIX is a fast growing, contract manufacturer focusing on viral and recombinant protein products. We have recently built a state-of-the-art clean room at the Bio Science Park in Leiden that is getting filled with exciting new vaccines, antibodies and protein products. At HALIX, we enable our customers to find cures for impactful diseases.


The EVM & Facility department is responsible for keeping the facilities and production equipment in the desired state. As Sr Service Technician you will be responsible for the execution and coordination of Maintenance, Calibration and Validation activities within the EVM & Facility Management department.

Your tasks
  • Provide guidance to junior Technicians.
  • Contact with suppliers and contractors, preparing Work Permits.
  • Coordinate work of contractors on site.
  • Filling in and review of maintenance, calibration and validation documents.
  • Writing/updating Facility Management work instructions and execution protocols.
  • Execute small repairs, modifications and maintenance work.
  • First response actions regarding equipment and utilities alarms.
  • General Facility Management tasks.
You have
  • MBO/BSc Electrical/Mechanical or similar.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience with maintenance, calibration and/or validation in the pharmaceutical industry or cleanroom environment.
  • Working knowledge of GMP/FDA guidelines.
  • Experience with writing quality documents (e.g. deviations, changes, etc.).
  • Good command of English language, both verbally as in writing. Basic command of the Dutch language is preferred.
